Screen-free learning - is it realistic in 2025?

We have been trying to reduce screen time but so many resources are screen-based. Has anyone built a high-quality screen-free education?

Mostly screen-free is realistic. We use screens for language immersion videos and nothing else. Everything else is books and hands-on.

Screen-free is easiest when you build the environment first. Fill the home with good books, art supplies, instruments, building materials.

Accept that screen-free is a spectrum. Our goal is screens as tools, not as default entertainment.

The question is not screen vs no-screen but whether the child controls the screen or the screen controls the child.
