How many hours a day do you actually school?

Elementary years: two to three hours is sufficient. The one-to-one ratio is that efficient.

Three hours for primary, four for middle years, five for high school. The rest of the day is living, and living IS education.

Two and a half hours of focused work. We have covered more content than her schooled peers in four years.

Count all learning. Nature walk, documentary, conversation at dinner, cooking from a recipe - it all counts.
