Portfolio vs standardised testing - which do you use for annual assessment?

Portfolio shows growth over time; standardised tests show a snapshot. We use both: portfolio as main record, CAT test every two years as calibration.

Standardised tests measure what tests measure. Portfolio is a truer picture of the whole child.
